To qualify for Sender Score Certified, participants must meet a strict set of practices for sending commercial e-mail. In addition, once they are certified, senders undergo TRUSTe monitoring of compliance with program standards and complaint rates. If complaints rise above a certain limit, the sender can be removed from the Sender Score Certified program.
